Storyline:

Damian made his way to the Batcave where he was confronted by Robin, who had been expecting him. He told the boy that Batman wasn't arround and that he didn't believe his grandfather had returned. Damian went to Alfred to ask about Batman; Robin saw him as threatening and attacked.
The Sensei's people went out in search of the map to Nanda Parbat.
Batman freed Talia from Ra's al Ghul's bindings. He sent Nightwing to look for Damian while he sought Ra's.
Dozens of League of Assassins ninjas surrounded Wayne Manor.

Damian escaped and left his mother in hopes of finding Batman. Robin told Talia he'd help if she gave him information on resurrection. He bailed on her and went his own way. He found the White Ghost and asked to join them. He was taken to the Lazarus Pit. I-Ching and Nightwing were there.

Storyline: Batman and Robin picked up a bookie who had been robbed by a "cape." The woman was wearing purple, which made Robin think of Spoiler.
Ives, Tim's old friend, began attending Tim's school.
Robin got the next pickup location from the bookie and staked it out. He came face to face with Violet and the two fought. She got away, leaving Robin with a black eye.
Penguin bailed the bookie out and planned to use him as bait.

Storyline: Batman and Robin took down the Condiment King with little difficulty then talked about Violet as she struck again. The next day, Tim had another problem focusing with Zoanne - he fell asleep on a roller coaster. She ditched him again.
Robin went on patrol and found a ghetto church getting a make over. Thinking it may be the money Violet was stealing, "Alvin Draper" went in to investigate. It was a place for people trying to get over addictions. Tim bumped into Ives before heading into a Gambling-Anonymous meeting.
Officer Harper introduced Robin to Lt. Detective Cavallo and Detective Wise.

Storyline: Robin, using his new detective friends as backup, went into Maxie's Casino - an underground joint he heard about in the gambling anonymous. With some quick surveillance, he found out "Maxie" was Maxie Zeus. Violet struck and shots were fired. He helped her get out without getting killed while the cops busted the place and arrested Zeus.
Spoiler watched Robin.

Storyline: Penguin got a tip that there were two girls in purple. He wanted them both.
Tim visited Ives, who was recovering from chemotherapy.
Robin was told by the detectives that there was a rash of very good counterfeit hundreds. He analyzed one and knew that Violet would be after them. He tracked them to the Korean Mafia and found Violet already there. They fought, but Spoiler intervened. Robin freaked out and the mob arrived.

Storyline: After taking down the Korean mobsters, Spoiler split saying she would meet Robin again under her own terms. Robin got Violet into his car, but she bolted.
The detectives who'd been working with Robin baited their informant into their car and shot him.
Batman and Robin tracked Spoiler - Stephanie Brown. They took her back to the cave and talked. Leslie Thompkins had faked her death to get her away from the "cape" life.

Storyline: Tim thought back on the year he, Dick, and Bruce spent abroad after the Crisis. Bruce went into a cave to die and be reborn. Tim and Dick spent the next 49 days training as both their civilian and masked identities. They took down a slave trader and made a deal with a sheik.
In the present, Robin showed Spoiler one of Batman's casebooks. Believing Batman may have gone crazy, he handed part of the book over to Officer Harper and offered Penguin money if he could find Batman. Spoiler was against all his moves.

Storyline: Robin busted some heads of the Gotham Golden Dragons. Word on the street was one of them had a picture of Batman. Spoiler found it on one's phone, but deleted it. Robin went to Jason Bard, but he'd not heard from Batman in seven weeks. Robin wondered if that had any connection to the time Batman spent in the cave at Nanda Parbat.
He visited Officer Harper, but she could not put anything together with what he'd given her. A member of the Club of Villains attacked him and Spoiler, but he was knocked unconscious as the duo headed to visit Penguin. There, Robin found that Spoiler had deleted the picture. She told him Batman asked her to throw him off the trail - he didn't want Robin involved.
Tim believed their family was breaking up.

Subtitle: Search for a Hero Part 1: The Concrete Cauldron

Storyline: Jason Todd took over another gang while someone in the Red Robin costume watched. With Batman gone, Robin felt pressured to be everywhere at once. He found out about Todd and the gangs.
Officer Harper contacted him when she got word that the gangs were going to attack the GCPD. One of the fake Robins (either Todd or the one in the Red costume) stole some money from Penguin. Robin confronted Todd and the two fought. Red Robin intervened, causing Jason to go into a rage. All three escaped when the police arrived and broke up the gang fight.
Spoiler met with an assassin and handed over some money.

Subtitle: Search for a Hero Part 2: Life During Wartime

Storyline: Robin broke up a gang fight over a child. Ragman was also there. Detectives Cavallo and Wise took in a gang leader, making a media circus of it. Jason Bard met with Officer Harper.
Red Robin once again intervened in Robin's shakedown of one of the warring gangs. Ragman confirmed that Cavallo and Wise were the killers of the gang leader.
Harper got what she needed from Bard and arrested the two detectives.
Spoiler met with Ulysses - the General.

Subtitle: Search for a Hero Part 3: Chaos in a Bottle

Storyline: Robin stopped Scarab, who was firing on a police protest. Armstrong, the General, patched up Stephanie from where he'd shot her. She suckered him and escaped.
Robin went out in the Batmobile. Both Lynx and Scarab were there fighting with the gang-bangers. Spoiler went after Scarab when she began firing real bullets (not rubber). Red Robin called Robin out.
