He told them he'd consider and took their invitation to a sparring match. He defeated two operatives. Tim told Batman he was considering the offer. Cover Date: October 2005
Subtitle: Good Girls don't Die
Writer(s): Bill Willingham
Artists(s): Scott McDaniel, Andy Owens
Storyline: Tim and his back-from-the-dead friend Darla went for a walk. She told him all about Johnny Warlock and how he'd brought her back to kill Robin. Tim told her he could get her evidence that there was more than one Robin. He called Superboy in for help. He showed "Laura" several pictures from Robin sightings, citing a female and different body types on the males. He showed her a website where Robin was thought to frequent and set up a meeting. While waiting on the boy wonder, Tim tried to get through to Laura's morals. Superboy showed up in the Robin outfit; Darla blasted him and was content that he was dead. Later, Robin made sure Superboy was ok and visited with Laura again (in Tim clothes). The Veteran's base was breached and the captured metahumans were missing. No one had any information - only that the breach had come from outside. Editor's note: this takes place before Teen Titans #24

Writer(s): Bill Willingham
Artists(s): Scott McDaniel, Andy Owens
Storyline: Robin prepared for his first mission with the Veteran and his team. As they neared the jump point, Robin learned the Veteran was invulnerable. The base where they landed was deserted. It appeared they'd been taken just like the previous metahuman breakout. They found some unhatched demon eggs - terrorists had enlisted a demon to spawn for them; they also found some recently hatched eggs. The camp was surrounded. They herded the demons in so none could escape and killed them all. They also found the mother demon and destroyed it. Robin told the Veteran he'd have to talk it over with Batman before making a decision on joining the team.
