Storyline: After defeating Azrael, Batman - Bruce asked Dick Grayson to take over while he was away. Killer Croc surfaced, and some riverside killings caused Gordon to shine the signal; Dick and Tim responded. Gordon immediately knew it was "another" Batman. Working well together as a team, Batman and Robin tracked and took down Croc and some gangsters that were also out to get him. Gordon told his wife, Sarah, he'd met a third Batman.

Storyline: Arnold Wesker - the Ventriloquist, and his dummy, Scarface, surfaced and planned to take over the gang that was once theirs. With paperwork and records being a mess since the destruction of Arkham put many of its inmates in Blackgate, Harvey Kent was released from custody. Harvey Dent took his place and walked free. Batman (Dick) and Robin went after Ventriloquist after hearing twenty + junkies had died from bad heroin. They took Wesker down, but Scarface fell into the hands of another man in the gang.

Storyline: Otis Flannegan, the Ratcatcher, escaped. Tim learned Harvey Dent had been released on a clerical error. He told Dick and then spent some time with his father. Batman went to Gordon. The Commissioner confronted him about the multiple Batmen; Dick assured him the "armored one" was gone for good. With help from one of Harold's devices (which repelled rats), Batman took down Ratcatcher.

Storyline: Tim went to make up with Ariana. Two-Face's gang took out a room full of over a dozen lawyers. Batman and Robin investigated the victims and looked for a pattern. They were ready and waiting when Dent set forth his "binary" plans to wreak havoc on the city's computer systems.

Storyline: Batman and Robin were forced to let Dent go when he threatened the life of a hostage. Two-Face ran a computer program that would transpose people in the justice system - criminals were freed, people were jailed before trial. Overcrowding allowed would-be prisoners to take over their transport van and take hostages in a nearby theater. Batman and Robin easily took them down.

Storyline: Blackgate began to overflow with the excess of prisoners. A man from Troika - a Russian "insurance/security" organization - approached Lucious Fox and threatened WayneCorp. Batman single-handedly stopped an all out riot at Blackgate. Two-Face kidnapped Harvey Kent - the man that should have been released instead of him.

Storyline: Batman returned from Blackgate; Robin contacted Oracle. She fingered the Hall of Records as a possible Two-Face strike. He was captured there just after getting a message to Batman. Dick was there in time, rescued Robin and Harvey Kent, and took down Two-Face.

Storyline: On a date with Ariana, Tim got jumped and beaten up. Jack Drake got new exercise equipment and began his physical therapy. Tim got revenge on the two guys who beat him up when there were no witnesses. A Russian mob attacked Ariana's family's store. Troika hired KGBeast.

Storyline: Tim got Dick a list of the three worst criminals still at-large since the Two-Face situation. Batman went after them. He took down the first after he murdered his former partner. The second was also relatively easy - he was staking out the man who sent him to prison. The third was a bit harder, he'd already killed a few former associates. Batman took him down along with the gang he was after.

Storyline: The Tally Man set a trap for Batman and caught him. Dick was in trouble for something Jean Paul did. Batman was able to stun him psychologically and take him down.

Storyline: Detective MacKenzie Bock reported for duty as Lt. Essen's new assistant. Batman and Robin went after a "winged freak with claws" that had been taking out mobsters. Dick suspected Azrael was making a comeback. He and Robin split up to do some investigating. Batman found Jean Paul Valley in a homeless shelter; he obviously was not the killer. He returned to the cave to find Bruce was back. Robin found the man they were looking for - Steeljacket.

Subtitle: Wings over Gotham (Prodigal conclusion)

Storyline: Robin and the police pursued Steeljacket as Dick and Bruce had a heart-to-heart. Robin stayed with Steeljacket (in flight) long enough for the police to take him down. When he returned to the cave, Dick was in his Nightwing getup, and Bruce had a new Batman costume.
