Storyline: Batgirl test-drove her new costume by taking down some men breaking into a skyscraper. She then took down a purse snatcher who's victim happened to be Stephanie Brown's mother. Livewire was an easy take-down for her after that. Barbara worked out with Wendy.

Storyline: Batgirl was first on the scene of a fire in Devil's Square. A man calling himself Diesel, who had some sort of gasoline for blood, was behind it. Batman and Robin burst in and Batgirl accidentally froze Robin while putting out the fire.
Dick argued with Barbara about Stephanie and her new costume, then threw them out of the cave. Stephanie met Damian.
Later, Stephanie learned that one of her classmates' father might have ties to illegal operations. She bumped into her friend at a diner and was shot when men in masks kidnapped him.


Batgirl #6

Storyline: With some help from Oracle, Stephanie escape the ambulance she was in. Batman met with Gordon on the Stefano situation - his property had been fire-bombed and now his son had been kidnapped. Robin and Batgirl got in a fight; Batman took them both off the case.
They worked together to uncover a gambling set-up: Riot, Roxy Rocket, and Dr. Phosphorus vs. Batman.


Batgirl #7

Storyline: Batgirl (debuting her new "ricochet" bike) and Robin got to Batman in time and Oracle got them to Roulette. Later, Dick and Barbara discussed their new sidekicks.

Storyline: Red Robin visited the cave looking for Batman. He found Batgirl. The computer notified him of an attack on the Thompkins Clinic. Batgirl followed him. A social event was being held, so they got into civilian clothes and attended. Together, they stopped the assassins. Tim gave Batgirl credit to the press. The two went out on patrol and were interrupted by Prudence. Note: This issue sandwiches between Red Robin 9&10. It is collected in the RR tpb "Collision."


Batgirl #9

Storyline: "Team Batgirl" stopped a would-be suicide bomber on a tram. Gordon thanked Stephanie personally. Barbara sent her on another mission where she could not stop a man from killing himself after attempting to rob a tech firm. Traces of metal were found in his blood - it was giving off a wifi signal.
Calculator was at play.


Batgirl #10

Storyline: Oracle got her systems offline before Calculator attacked. He'd acquired a Justifier helmet from Darkseid's recent attempt at finding anti-life. He used it to broadcast an image of Oracle - she was to be captured alive.
Oracle got Wendy to a safe house before being attacked. Batgirl helped her out of the jam, but they were separated in the ensuing melee.
Calculator had possession of his son's corpse.


Batgirl #11

Storyline: Calculator entered his captive's dreams. Oracle fought back.
Wendy used the computer system in Oracle's compound to help Batgirl (she was being attacked by Catwoman, Huntress, and Man-Bat). She then used the Ricochet bike to rescue her. The "borrowed" a plane; Wendy flew over her father's hideout so Batgirl could parachute in.


Batgirl #12

Storyline: Oracle and Calculator continued to fight in their linked minds while Wendy and Batgirl crashed his place. They freed Barbara; Wendy's father was left inside his own mind. The rest of him was put in New Arkham.
Wendy joined the group, calling herself Proxy.


Batgirl #13

Storyline: Batgirl took down Clayface on her day off from class. He was attempting to break into his safety deposit box - it only contained a picture of him with his dead wife from years ago.
Note: Stephanie's second semester at college begins.

Subtitle: Terror in the 3rd Dimension

Storyline: A student's hard light lab experiment went wrong and blew up. The explosion carried over into a nearby theater where Stephanie (Batgirl) and Kara (Supergirl) were having a night out. 24 frames of the film became real - 24 Draculas. The duo took them down and had a blast doing so.
